Columbus Memory Center was honored for providing Alzheimer’s care to underserved communities at the 2nd annual Ambassador of Christ Cathedral’s 2nd “Pink & Purple Awareness” Brunch – an annual initiative to provide education on Alzheimer’s and cancer.

Fountain City Classic
Columbus’ Memory Center continued their partnership with Gloria Strode at the 2023 Fountain City Classic, a matchup between rival Historically Black Universities, Albany State and Fort Valley
Together, we administered close to 100 “Memory Number” assessments over the weekend.

Columbus Memory Center has received the community’s support for their commitment to inclusivity in Alzheimer’s treatment. Prominent local figures have sought out CMC to further spread Alzheimer’s & Dementia awareness in the black community. Dr. Curtis Crocker, pastor at Metropolitan Baptist Church, endorsed the Columbus Memory Center’s services on Praise 100.7 in Columbus, GA.
City Council
Jerry “Pops” Barnes, an advocate of the black community and a member of Columbus’ City Council, awarded honored CMC’s inclusion initiatives with a proclamation declaring May 9th, 2023 as “Diversity Inclusion in Memory Care” Day
